Back into digital painting! There'll be more to come!
Spent a great deal on with this. Had to squeeze time away from homework for the past two weeks. Picked up several new (to me) tricks with Photoshop CS5 from class; refined different area at least twenty times in total using adjustments layers, textures, masks and blending modes etc to get this final look. Simply had the urge to portray something evil in a righteous, duplicitous way - then I thought of whit flower petals ans seashells.
Still plenty more I could improve on, but the best solution for that is time and experience. At this point, I'm happy; after all, it's only my 7th digital painting, and I haven't touched my tablet in almost a year. O.o
Got any comments or suggestions? I'd love to hear them.
Why the name: (LOL Why not?)
The angel is two-faced; light and dark; good and evil. In a sense, it refers to the idea of balance. Also tried including both warm and cool colours in the painting.
(Honestly, couldn't be bothered coming up with an elaborate and clichéd name like "Decent of the Fallen". The Angel and the Dove are two buddies, so Two it is.)
