I've been painting this at art classes since the start of the year, so it's been roughly 30 hours in total. The painting is 18" by 24" and done with acrylics. I must say, the paints that my teacher bought for me were HEAPS better than the ones I used for my previous paintings (much better consistency and vibrance).

The idea behind this painting actually started back in 2009 when I got bored and did those two doodles when I was in China; I played Advance Wars on Gameboy Advance and loved the cartoony animations and couldn't help but do these tank caricatures. I personally exaggerated the shapes even more for the lolz. My teacher loved it...
